My kindergarten students are loving our new unit under the TD theme, How the World Works. My class will be enjoying experiments about air.
To tune in my students, I told them a story about a boat who got stranded on the sea. There are so many may sailors on the boat and they are all hungry.
My kindergarten's job is to help the sailors come back and land on the shore. I told them that they need to help the sailors blow their boat back by pushing the boat with their own breath.
K2A: I will be the best sailor.
K2B: Can you blow like I do?
K2C: I will help the sailors and give them a lot of food.
Ready, one...two...three.. blow....
Reflection on their activity:
- My students said that air in important because it helps the boat sail on the sea.
- They have air in their body.
- Air helps them breath.
What a fun afternoon!
